These are the questions tankless installers ask us most often before they start. The short answers are in the list above; below we go into the ones that deserve more room. If your question isn't here, call, text or email.

Frequently asked questions

What does it cost?

Starter is $2,998 a month, Growth $4,498 and Elite $8,998. Websites start at $3,500 one-time. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and installers add GST/HST for their province (GST and QST in Quebec).

Is there a long-term contract?

There is no lock-in. The terms of your engagement are written into your proposal before you start, so you know exactly what you are agreeing to.

What is in the 7-day free trial?

We review your marketing, test the website, look at your search presence and size up competitors. No credit card is required, and you keep the findings.

How long before we see calls?

Ads can bring calls within the first couple of weeks. Google Business Profile fixes often help within weeks. New service pages usually take several months to settle in search.

We tried an agency before and it didn't work. Why would this be different?

Often the problem was reporting on clicks instead of booked jobs, or one campaign mixing emergencies with planned upgrades. We start with an audit, explain what we would change and why, and report calls and jobs. We can't promise results, but we can promise clarity.

Who owns the website and accounts?

You do: the website, domain, Google Business Profile, Google Ads and analytics accounts. If you leave, they stay with you.

What reports will I get?

Starter clients get a monthly report and Growth clients a weekly one; Elite adds a real-time dashboard and custom reports. Reports cover calls, texts, emails, contact clicks and booked jobs where your software tracks the source.

Do you install or service tankless heaters?

No. We are a digital marketing and business consulting service, not a contractor. We never install, repair, service or sell equipment.

Can you get us to the top of Google?

Nobody can honestly promise a ranking. We build the pages, profile and reviews that give you the strongest chance, and we report where you stand each month.

Do you work with plumbing companies?

Yes. Tankless work is done by plumbers, gas fitters and HVAC companies. If you install or service tankless heaters in Canada, we can help.

Will you mention rebates in our marketing?

Only current ones, with the administrator named, the effective date stated and a link to the source. When a program changes, we update or pause the content.

How does the newsroom relate to the marketing?

The newsroom reports facts neutrally. Our marketing advice appears in labelled analysis sections and on the services pages. Clients get earlier warning when a story affects their pages.

Do you work outside BC?

Yes. We work with installers in every province and territory from our base in Vancouver, in person or by video call as well as by phone, text and email.

Cost and commitment

The short answer: plans from $2,998 a month, websites from $3,500, no lock-in, and a free trial first.

Our plans come from HVAC.Agency: Starter, Growth and Elite, at $2,998, $4,498 and $8,998 a month. Websites are a one-time cost from $3,500, plus monthly hosting. Everything is in Canadian dollars, with GST or HST at your province's rate. The pricing page lists what each plan includes and works through an example.

There is no lock-in. The specific terms of your engagement, including start date and billing, are written into your proposal. If something matters to you, such as how notice works or what happens to ad spend, ask and it will be stated there.

Timelines and expectations

The short answer: ads are fastest, profiles next, pages slowest, and none of it is certain.

A realistic picture for a tankless installer:

  • Weeks 1–2: trial audit, tracking set-up, profile fixes.
  • Weeks 2–4: ads live, if ads are part of the plan.
  • Months 1–3: core tankless pages written and published.
  • Months 3–6: rankings start to reflect the new pages; maintenance reminders begin producing repeat bookings.

We won't promise ranking positions or lead counts. We will tell you what we expect after the audit, and report honestly against it. Our results page shows what our HVAC work has achieved for named companies.

If an agency let you down before

The short answer: ask how they measured success, then ask us the same.

A common pattern is an agency that reports impressions and clicks, not calls and jobs. Another is one ad campaign trying to win both emergency tank swaps and planned tankless upgrades, so neither performs. A third is a website full of manufacturer copy or rebate figures that went out of date.

Our approach is different in specific ways: separate campaigns for different buyers, pages built on dated facts, reporting on booked jobs, and full ownership of everything we build. The services overview explains each piece.

Ownership and access

The short answer: everything is yours.

Your website, domain, Google Business Profile, ad accounts and analytics belong to you. We work inside accounts you own, with access you grant. If we part ways, you keep everything, including the history.

Working with your team

The short answer: we need a contact, call data and an hour a month of your time.

To do the work well, we need one person on your side who can answer questions, approve pages and share job data. Most months, that is about an hour. We'll ask for access to your website, Google Business Profile and ad accounts, and for a regular export of booked jobs with their source, if your software records it.

We also ask your technicians for input on sizing, venting and maintenance content. Their knowledge is what makes a tankless page credible, and it's the part a generic agency can't copy.

Reporting you can check

The short answer: numbers you can verify yourself.

Reports show calls, texts, emails and contact clicks, which search terms and campaigns produced them, and booked jobs where your records allow. We include the raw figures, not only charts, so you can compare them with your own phone logs and invoices. If a number looks wrong, we investigate it with you.

The newsroom

The short answer: neutral reporting, with our opinions clearly labelled.

Our newsroom reports on recalls, rebates, gas codes, efficiency rules and manufacturer announcements, using sources we load ourselves and the source's own date. Opinions appear only in sections marked as analysis. Being a marketing firm that runs a newsroom means we notice changes early, and when a story affects a client's pages, we update them.
